Griff talked about the impact of Tuesday's 2015 Spring Seller Update. He also commented on a seller from whom he received email who waits for free listing promotions to list items in their store. Paul, Sarasota FL (wisebuyoutlet.c0m), thinks that the fee for scheduled listings should be eliminated. Denise, Laguna Woods CA (velvetmoxie), sells secondhand items, some of which are new with price tags, and wants to know how the new mandate for product identifiers will affect her.

Cindy, San Diego CA (pattycyn), asked how she should type in product identifiers when she adds them to item specifics. Judy, Salem IN (judybsa), wrote in about the overwhelming negativity on the eBay boards with regard to the Spring Seller Update and told us 4 positive things she plans to do to make the new changes work for her. Edie, Santa Monica CA (dress_to_suit), also plans to adapt to the changes.

Lee reminded us to register now for the eBay Radio Party & Conference at http://www.erVegas.com. The event is already nearly one-third sold out! You can also reserve your group-rate hotel room in Bally's North Tower -- just an elevator ride away from the Platinum Ballroom -- by clicking on the second blue button at http://www.erVegas.com.

Lee told Griff about this year's Lindt Gold Bunny Giving Works celebrity auction campaign as well as the Live in the Vineyard Giving Works auction for a VIP experience. Albert, Philadelphia PA (pennsydeals1), asked for a listing dish of item number 251885098679. He received a score of 4.95 tureens. Someone on the chat board who had their listing dished but didn't take Griff's and Lee's advice made Griff cry.

Julie, Chicago IL (magyar5615), called to report a dished listing that sold. Patty, Miami FL (shoppingmom2), started to tell us about a long-lost and much-cherished childhood item that she finally found on eBay and was held over until the next segment.

Open phones, Contact Us email and more: John Lee, eBay's Director of Monetization, and Erez Yereslove, eBay's Senior Director of Monetization, stayed on to take calls regarding the changes to fees and features outlined in the 2015 Spring Seller Update. Donna, Syracuse NY, suggested that since eBay seems to be going back to its roots, perhaps Weird Al Yankovich could write a new eBay parody song that would go viral.

Product identifiers are key to helping your items get found by search engines, and the 2015 Spring Seller Update will make them mandatory later this year. Our guests are Balaji Parthasarathy, eBay's Senior Product Manager of Structured Data, and Darren Akiva, eBay's Content Product Manager of Structured Data. They stayed on after their interview to take questions during Open Phones.

Edie, Santa Monica CA (dress_to_suit), asked about UPC codes on clothing items. 82-year-old caller Ron, East Liverpool OH (bolts3), wondered how the fee and feature changes will affect him as an Anchor Store subscriber. Dan, Claremont FL (12betty5881), asked about the refunding of insertion fees for auction items that sell the first vs. the second time they're listed and also wanted to know if it was possible to opt out of a store subscription since eBay has changed the terms of that subscription.
