Griff has been the host of eBay Radio ever since its debut in 2003. A Top Rated Seller himself, Griff was hired by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar to be the company’s first customer service representative. He is the author of The Official eBay Bible and Dean of eBay Education.
As Senior Manager for Seller Advocacy and part of eBay’s Seller Experience Team, Griff brings to the airwaves a wealth of eBay and ecommerce expertise along with a show biz sensibility. When not on the air or at eBay headquarters, he enjoys collecting perfumes and antique textiles, playing the piano, and spoiling his four-legged family members. (Hint: Don’t get him started on his dogs!)
Lee has been a force in radio broadcasting since 1965 and is a pioneer in internet radio. Her accomplishments since 2003 include first creating, then serving as co-host and producer of eBay Radio for eBay Inc.
Broadcasting from the Clear Channel Studios in San Diego, CA, with 5 hours of programming each week, eBay Radio, eBay Radio’s Top Rated Seller Hour and eBay Radio’s Ask Griff & Lee provide eBay education, information, and entertainment to eBay’s 170 million registered users worldwide. Lee also enjoys playing in the California Ladies State Poker Championships every September. (Hint: Don’t get her started on poker!)
John has produced audio since 1978 for many venues, including radio and TV commercials; AV presentations; telephone on-hold marketing tracks; show bumpers; and custom marketing productions for all types of presentations. He comes from a musical family, so John loves to sit and thumb-pick country-style blues on his guitar into the wee small hours of the morning. (Hint: Don’t get him started on country music, guitars, or the blues!)
Melissa is a “radio brat”, having been raised by parents who were in the radio business. She has worked for most of her life in various radio station gigs, from banner schlepper to phone screener to talk show producer. Melissa also has a degree in psychology; she divides her time between duties as a youth counselor and her creative radio projects. She has served as producer for eBay Radio for more than a decade. In addition, Melissa is the mother of 2 handsome and very active young adult sons. (Hint: Don’t get her started on her children!)
Betsie Bolger (known in the eBay community as “eBetsy”) has been creating and editing content in various media ever since she learned to write. She is the scriptwriter for Tuesday’s eBay Radio broadcasts, manages the archives and other Voicemarketing content, and served as co-organizer and emcee of the eBay Radio Party & Conference from 2009-2015.
Betsie is a Top Rated Seller and eBay instructor (formerly part of eBay’s now-retired Education Specialist program), and she makes good use of the eBay colors in her hair for eBay events. She was also a professional equestrian, competing internationally as well as training horses and riders to national and world championships, and nowadays runs agility with 2 of her 4 dogs. (Hint: Don’t get her started on horses!)
Donna focuses on sponsorships and utilizing social media to expand the reach of traditional marketing. She has directed administrative and operational activities in a wide range of industries, including organizing large scientific symposiums; managing a scientific society; assisting in the monthly orchestration and production of a classic mystery school; and providing oversight and guidance in areas directly related to growing a business. She also writes a newsletter on creativity and living while staying active with art, yoga, and QiGong. (Hint: Don’t get her started on city planning!)
Carolyn “CJ” Jacinto became a full-time eBay seller in 2001 following a 32-year career in the world of traditional retail. She is a Top Rated Seller as well as one of the country’s premier eBay instructors (formerly a Certified Business Consultant in eBay’s now-retired Education Specialists program).
CJ books guests for Tuesday’s eBay Radio shows and also writes the scripts for Thursday broadcasts of eBay Radio’s Ask Griff & Lee. In her free time, CJ enjoys trips to Disneyland, collecting eBayana, and spending time with her grandchildren. (Hint: Don’t get her started on Walt Disney!)
Semi-retired, but working harder than ever. Frank is a voiceover actor in Hollywood and points East, and he also plays a mean country guitar. (Hint: Don’t get him started!)
Burt is a technology consultant, project manager, photographer, counselor, life coach and father. Burt’s work involves supporting people in achieving their goals, often through enabling technology in life and business. He is also a minister. (Hint: Don’t get him started on spirituality!)
