Secrets for Success

20 Feb 2017 Blog

Adapted from a recent article in entrepreneur.com, contributor Matthew Toren suggests a couple of very important secrets to success:

  • First, keep the big vision in sight. A big vision will take you far, because when things go wrong on your path to success…and they will…keeping the big vision in mind will enable you to steer your way back to a successful course.
  • Second, fuel your vision with perseverance. You’ll need to keep moving forward. Sometimes, when things get challenging on your path as an entrepreneur, you have to commit yourself to moving forward, regardless of the discomfort and fear surrounding the next steps. When you fuel your big vision with perseverance and the spirit of “only forward”, you eventually meet your success.

Advice for the Entrepreneur: Lee’s Tip #145

11 Aug 2015 Uncategorized

I read an article on Entrepreneur.com regarding some habits of successful people — habits that don’t cost anything and could be available to all. One standout in the article was Warren Buffet, who says, “The difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say ‘no’ to almost everything.” The list of things to which they say “no” runs the gamut from negativity to outside activities and more. I know that somewhere in the middle, there is a good balance. Do you say “yes” too often?
