The New Year is the time for resolutions, both personal and business-related. If you need ideas for improving your business in 2015, here are a few tips to get you started.
Make sure last year is wrapped up tight. Stay on top of your 2014 tax prep by taking advantage of the IRS Small Business and Self-Employed Tax Center at http://www.irs.gov. And if you need help getting your tax info organized, sign up for a FREE Outright account in the eBay Apps Center. Outright automatically organizes all of your eBay, PayPal, bank and credit card transactions in one place.
Set your goals for 2015, from organizing your work area to expanding your inventory. (We—ll be talking with Danna Crawford about that later in today—s show #582; she also wrote an excellent blog post on that topic for eBay for Business at http://for-business.ebay.com/goal-setting-2015-how-i-do-it.)
Resolve to pay less in fees this year. Find out if an eBay Stores subscription can help you save money. If you—re already a subscriber, make sure you have the right subscription level. Use eBay—s handy Fee Illustrator to find the right subscription package based on your projected 2015 activity. (You can find a link to the Fee Illustrator in eBay Radio—s Seller Bookmarks, located under the Seller Resources tab in the eBay Radio archives.)
